This project was a collaboration between myself, Wayward Studio and the community of Bells Garden Estate in Peckham and Southwark Council. The council wanted the MUGA (multi-use games areas) to be more expressive of the community and for it to have a sense of ownership.

Through a series of workshops, the residents of the estate collectively selected phrases that moved them. “Go Beyond Your Limit”.

We then responded to their words and created a 15m mural in a playing field allowing the phrase to be visible to everyone passing by.
